Legendary Journeys Complaint - Refund checks not mailed
SARASOTA, FLORIDA -- On September 13, 2007, my wife and I booked a trip to Alaska with Legendary Journeys, based in Sarasota, Fl. They offered side trips to be paid for prior to the trip. We signed up for a tour of Seattle, Wash., but when we were to board the bus, we found that Legendary Journeys failed to put our name on that list. I called them & they admitted the error & told us that they would refund the check for $98.00 & for us to take a cab (no more than 3 hours at a cost of $200.00.) and that they would pay (refund) also. We were to forward the receipt, which we did upon returning home.
I have talked to Mark, Concierge Dept. many times, as he was the one who authorized the refunds. A check for the $98.00 was mailed & received, but they conveniently failed to sign the check & we had to return it. They still have not sent it back within a 40 day period. They never have sent the $200.00 check & will not call me back as they will not take my phone call-just a voice automated call that says they will call within 24 hours.
I just want my refund back as they were at fault & told me what to do. This has gone on since October 4, 2007. It seems like 70 days is long enough. Can you help?
