Magazine Subscription - Complaint
OCEAN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY -- Geez...I wish I would have seen this BEFORE I orderd a gift subscription for my sister's birthday from halfpricedmags.com. I believe I've been scammed!!! There is no way to contact that this company personally...... I was SHOCKED that they still have my order info in the computer. You can imagine how embarrasssed I was when my sister called me up a couple of weeks ago asking why her magazines haven't come. I just checked my bank statement, and boy, they sure do take your money right away, then send NO magazines! I've renewed her Us Weekly magazine as a gift for about 3 years, figured if I ordered from this site, I'd save some $$ and then would be able to buy her another b-day gift. I should have just paid the regular high price for the mag!!!!
I just now called their # listed on my bank statement, and sent an email, and I'll see whether or not I get a response. Lets hope they do the right thing!! I told them I will be looking into a class action lawsuit if I do not get a refund. Do yourself a favor and pay regular price!!
