DHL Informative - Online Ripoff
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- I created an online account but packages that I had weighed and measured at the main office Seattle were consistently billed for more weight/volume. One package that was quoted at the office for 11 pounds was billed online at 112 pounds. I thought this was an error(How could I have carried the package in to office at that weight?) DHL consistently refused to correct the weight and rebill. Later after I started paying for shipping onsight at their office via credit card I got a bill online for a package I had shipped but thought I had paid for.
When I complained they said my card had declined. I verified with my card company and found that this was not true. On that bill were shipment to addresses I did not ship to nor had any knowledge of. These were clearly some other company's shipments.
I have hit a stone wall is there any class action lawsuit I can join. DHL has recently turned this over to collections. But I only owe them the money for one shipment that they added many others' to the bill!
