Inkjet5.com Complaint - Phishing phone call and junk product

PASO ROBLES, CALIFORNIA -- On August 29, 2007, I ordered 3 color and 5 black re-manufactured printer ink cartridges for my Dell printer from the company named Inkjet5.com. I received the cartridges within a few days. However, a month or so later they called me asking for my payment information again saying their bank claims the payment had not been received. I told them I would not give them any of that information on the phone and, not trusting the call, hung up. I checked my bank statement and it showed the payment as being deducted from the account. When they called me back, I told them my statement showed the payment to them. They asked for me to fax the statement. I told them no, that I was not going to give them access to my statement with all my personal information. I did, however, give them the reference number associated with the debit. Some days later, they called to say it had all been cleared up. Now, I finally needed to replace my color cartridge. I put the first cartridge in and it wouldn't print the color yellow; I put the second cartridge in and it wouldn't print the color blue; then I put the last cartridge in and it too wouldn't print yellow. All three color cartridges are junk. I have not yet tried any of the black and don't think I will.

I have emailed them and requested a refund of my full payment. I sent the email yesterday and have not yet heard back. I will write the end to this story when it is done.

If you 'Google" Inkjet5.com you will find many complaints against Inkjet5.com exactly like yours. Your best bet might be a charge back otherwise you will never get your money back.

Many times I have gotten emails from them and had thought about getting the cartridges for my printer, after reading this complaint, I don't think I will....thanks for the info!

Just for reference, we use a local franchise called Kaboodle. The service and prices have been outstanding, and I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend them to anyone who has one nearby.

I posted a complaint about this company and wanted to let everyone know what happened. Nothing happened; they didn't even bother to reply to my email complaint to them. They even had the nerve to send me a "Holiday Greeting" email telling me about the wonderful deals they have. Wonderful deals? They sell junk. No price is a deal on junk!
