Sears Complaint - Poor customer relations
NORMAN -- Dec. 20th I purchased with cash a gift card for $50. My husband had hinted that he wanted some Craftsman tools. On the same day he told my daughter that he wanted something else for Christmas, so I planned to get a refund and buy a different gift for my husband. I still had the sales receipt so felt sure that it wouldn't be a problem.
I explained to the clerk and was informed that the store would not give a refund on gift cards. I spoke to the manager, and also talked to customer relations without success. I was angry, disappointed, and astonished that you would adhere to such a rigid policy, especially since Sears is a large corporation and has been around for a long time and advertises "customer satisfaction guaranteed."
Well I'm not satisfied. But after my husband uses the card, we will no longer be Sears customers.
