Hair Club for Men and Women - Cincinnati Complaint - Hair Club of Cincinnati Won't Honor Contracts

Review by from Blondie to Freaky on 2007-12-22
CINCINNATI, OHIO -- Hair Club of Cincinnati NightmareI recently became of a member of Hair Club for the treatments to avoid hair loss and eventual hair replacement. They neglected to tell me they try to damage your hair not protect it.

My stylist, Kim colored my hair an unnatural color and cut it way too short and choppy... even after we discussed it and looked at pictures. I left there looking like I had a Halloween wig on. I also did not receive the products I was paying for in a timely manner. I had to go more than 2 weeks without one of the recommended items.

According to my contract, I can forgo the services and have the amount of my contract in products. Since I have only 2 inches of orange hair I don't see the need for a hair stylist especially from that company. But, the company is refusing to honor the contract. They just suggested that I not return and forfeit the thousands of dollars I gave them.

I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. They are dishonest, incompetent and unprofessional.

Isn't it marvelous what they can do with velcro and cat fur nowadays? I am glad you can consider paying what they charge. I like my look, the Steve Wilkos look. He used to be the head of security on Jerry Springer and now has his own show. Think Mr. Clean.

I couldn't really afford to pay their prices. I am on a payment plan.

Since I work in an office and and am female I didn't feel I had an option other than having large bald patches.

My "Treatment" consisted of heated moisturizes, monoxodil, vitamins and special shampoos. If I were a man I'd have already shaved it all off.

Part of the selling point was that I wouldn't have to pay for a salon visit of any type for a year. After my first visit they informed me I was expected to pay as much in gratuity as it would have cost at an expensive salon... which I can't afford either.
