Sprint Nextel Complaint - Bait & switch tactics
Misinformation was intentionally given to me in order to get me to renew my contract. After the fact the person who I originally spoke with could not be located. Now I am locked into a two year contract with none of the benefits that were initially offered to me. I have been continually frustrated with Sprint because their customer service is terrible with long wait times. It is like Chinese water torture in an attempt to wear you down till you just simply give up.
I was told that I could have unlimited email & data pack for $10 per month. With that statement and AFTER specifically stating that I would get the blackberry device/Q10 I signed a new contract.
After signing I was told that my email would be 49.95 not $10. I returned the phone and was still left with a 2 year contract, which I never would have bought in the first place. Metro PCS is free unlimited calls & text message any time all day, so $10 did not seem unreasonable, but $49.95 + your bill is not nearly competitive.
I would like either to return the phone and get out of any contract or have the blackberry with the original quoted price of $10 per for unlimited text & email + my current cell plan.
