Taylor Wireless/Taylor Party Store Complaint - Salesperson Broke My Phone

TAYLOR, MICHIGAN -- I shopped the cellular booth at Gibratlar Trade Center owned by Taylor Party Store for a car charger. I had to return immediately when I discovered it was the wrong one. The sales girl exchanged it and I set my phone on her counter while inspecting this time to make sure it was the right one. She grabbed my phone and put a case on it asking me if I want to buy a case. I said no and during the processs of her removing the case, my phone came apart and it looked like she closed it up so I put it in my pocket and left. When I got home my husband had been calling me and asked why I didn't answer. I pulled my phone out and discovered that the top cover was not on all the way and that the memory card was half out. The cover was crunching the memory card. I opened it all the way and the card was broken in half. Half of it was stuck in the phone. I returned immediately to the booth and the sales girl called her boss Ali. He said to come to the main business located at 9018 Telegraph in Taylor Michigan at noon the day after Christmas. When I got there I met with a long haired middle eastern man named Ali...the store clerk also called him Al. He was very rude to me and my husband and said that he was not obligated to repair my phone or replace my memory card because his salesperson didn't have the intention of damaging my phone. He looked me straight in the eye with a piercing evil look and and sarcastically stated that he will not take care of my problem. The sales girl was completely neglegent and damaged my phone. She didn't have permission to pick it up and was high pressuring me to buy the case. I went to my own cell phone dealer and they removed the broken memory card for a $10.00 service fee. I will have to purchse a new card for $20.00 My cell phone dealer was aware of this sheister and told me of another incident involving a broken phone. This cost an entire $30.00 which doesn't seem like much but I have been in customer service and sales for many years and know this is not how you treat customers. There was no accountability for the actions of this employee and the damage she caused to my phone . I do not recommend anyone do business with this company. This Ali doesn't care about customers or building positive customer relations. I know a great number of people in the area and plan on spreading the word about my experience. He had the chance to take care of my problems and I would be putting out a good review right now. He apparently just don't care period!!!!!! What a shame.
