Verizon Complaint - Customer Service - What a JOKE!!!
PEEKSKILL, NEW YORK -- Don't even THINK that there's any customer service in this company. It's a nightmare and it's also caused a very dangerous situation. Two days ago, my elderly, housebound mother had a phone problem that caused unbelievable static on the line. She was still able to call 911 if needed and we reported the problem to the company stressing that it was an elderly woman and she was medically incapacitated. Apparently they think this is a joke and when they finally sent a trained (and I use this term lightly!) the guy actually broke something out there on the line and now there's no service! Yup, break it and drive away....that's always a good way to do your job!
Today we call again, early in the morning and explain that there is now NO PHONE due to the technician and they said they have the order and it will be resolved by 5pm. GUESS WHAT....it wasn't done!
We called and tried to get thru the automated menu to get a human for some help. This was no easy task but we finally talked to a representative who said she'll send someone on Monday. After asking for a supervisor, Who's name is TANYA don't even think this woman has any training in customer service. All she's concerned about is sitting in her office and picking up a paycheck. She was the nastiest, unhelpful employee that verizon has. When asked to send someone to repair the line that they broke and going thru the whole medical history, all she would say is that it's our problem until Monday. I definitely will be changing all my services, phone, internet, cable and cell away from this horrid company that would let a woman like that manage anything in their company. You can bet that my money will NOT be used to pay her a salary. In fact, this woman and the uselessness of her department should be called to account for their nastiness and lack of customer service.
Tanya, you are the WORST customer manager that I have ever spoken with and I hope you have the pleasure of dealing with the same exact "customer service" that I just did. Believe me, if there's an emergency before Monday morning and something happens to my elderly parent because of a delay in getting an ambulance, you and your company will be hearing from an attorney before you can say customer service!
