Dew Associates Corp. Complaint - Poor Management--Attempted Fraud

Review by vracki on 2007-12-31
SUSSEX, NEW JERSEY -- DEW ASSOCIATES does a lot of business via E-Bay auctions. When I inquired as to non-receipt of items paid for after winning one of their auctions, I received an insulting e-mail stating payment wasn't received by him. After sending him a copy of the Money Order I sent to him as payment, he then relented and ADMITTED that payment was received AND already deposited into his account. DEW ASSOCIATES then refused to send my items, claiming that my address was "invalid", although I've lived here for 12 years without prior incident of mail or packages not being received by me.

When shopping on E-BAY, AVOID doing business with DEW ASSOCIATES at ALL COSTS !! Nothing but headaches and insults from them. Thanks.

How can they claim it's invalid if they first were trying to claim you never paid for it, ergo they never attempted to ship. I would tell them flat out you are going to report them to the AG of their state for fraud if they don't come up with either the parts or a refund. Perhaps that will get your trains. BTW, I would NEVER buy anything on E-Bay with a money order. You really have no recourse now such as what Pay-Pal may offer.
