Emergency Animal Hospital of Ellicott City Informative - Very impressed! - Veterinary Emergency Care

Review by Brips on 2008-01-01
ELLICOTT CITY, MARYLAND -- My 3 year old pug started having seizures at midnight on Saturday. I had no idea what to do. I contacted this hospital and they suggested I bring him in immediately. They treated me and my pug (Bugsy)rapidly and professionally. I was so stressed when I went there and they calmed me down and the vet very carefully explained everything. My only concern was the cost. It was expensive ($88 just for the exam fee). But the vet had gone over a detailed estimate before he did anything.

I was just happy to find somewhere to take him. And Bugsy is doing great.

I'd have been thrilled to have an $88 bill from my vet. Hope your dog is O.K.

I'm glad Bugsy is better and that you found a good emergency vet in case you ever need one again (though I hope you don't). I had to take my cat to an emergency vet about a year ago and they were very kind and compassionate as well. He came through the procedure okay and when it came to the bill I figured "That's what credit cards are for."
