KitchenAid Informative - Price Does Not Reflect It's Quality
COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA -- The (very expensive )KitchenAid Slowcooker I purchased developed a hairline crack in the bottom and lower side of the ceramic pot when used with chilled meat. A replacement ceramic pot was sent to me by KitchenAid only to produce the same exact outcome.
When I spoke with their customer service dept. about the reoccurring problem they said they would send me another ceramic pot but only to place meat that has been brought to room temperature in the pot when cooking.
Uncooked meat is NEVER supposed to be brought to room temperature according to health regulations so needless to say I will be returning the slowcooker.
