Toys R Us Informative - Be An Educated Consumer
After reading many of these complaints. I can't believe there are so many uneducated consumers. The company policies at Toys R Us are clearly stated on line, in the stores and on the back of every receipt! Yet, when the store adheres to these policies they have to deal with screaming, cursing ignorant customers who all believe they should be the exception to the policy. I always seem to be behind one of you when I'm at a customer service counter. Because you lose receipts, throw away packaging or wait too long to return something, you blame the store! Unbelievable! Just some FYI's-Toys R Us will look up receipts by telephone number or credit card (of course if you're one of those people who refuse to give a phone number at the checkout-they won't find it by a phone number look up-again, I'm sure that's their faults!) Face it people, retailers are not our personal accountants. It is our responsibility to keep receipts and requests gift receipts. If you choose to do your shopping on line, good for you.
If you choose to deal with returns/exchanges via the post office rather than retailers and this had worked for you-good for you. I'm sure there are just as many complaints about Amazon and Ebay-the bottom line is, educate yourself when making purchases no matter how or where you purchase. If you adhere to the company policies, you will have no problems with returns and exchanges.
Furthermore, to the "person" who wrote requesting a Giraffe to kiss your ***, I think on line shopping is best for you. My children shop at Toys R Us and I would hope anyone with your mentality would not be in a store where they shop.
