Finishline Informative - Nike shox - Nike shoes

Nike shoes
Review by hasselshoes on 2008-01-04
PERU, ILLINOIS -- My son has had two different pairs of the Nike Shox shoes for basketball and the bottoms fall apart. He fell and broke his ankle wearing these shoes. Nike needs to improve the quality of these shoes. For the $150 price tag you would think the shoes would last longer than 6 weeks of basketball not even wearing them outside. They advertise these for basketball they should hold up when kids are playing the sport.

A concerned mom!!!

A $150 sneaker is not any different from a $20 sneaker. They'er all made from the same country...China.

$150.00 for a shoe is insane! Did they help his game at all,or are they the new trend these days?

I'm wearing a pair of Shox right now, the third pair I have purchased. I haven't purchased them because they were made poorly, they simply wore out after time. I guess it's possible you got a bad pair (or two). I love them, very comfortable and mine have all held together well. Granted, I don't play basketball in them, I use them for crosstraining and general wear.

If they are only 6 weeks old, I would suggest taking them back, with the receipt, for a refund....assuming you haven't already thought of that.
