Spirit Airlines Informative - Spirit Airlines Steal Money
ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- My grandmother was scheduled for a flight today January 7th, originally at 12:00pm but last night they send me an email telling me the flight changed, the format of the email was unclear so the times I read were inverted. my grandmother who was going home was told that even thought we had paid $500 dollars for a flight since she was late she was just out of luck. they kept the money did not give us an option to maybe pay a fee to get her into another flight nothing. this company is horrible. Not only do they charge you to check in bags when they are already charging you all types of stupid fee's. They have the oldest possible gates yet they charge a fee for their maintenance when honestly no need for them they are screwed up as it is so now we still have to pay for them. people don't have $500 hundred dollars to throw around at least not me, even after they implemented that stupid charge for the bags I still was flying with them, now I honestly prefer to pay an extra $100 dollars with another airline and at least know that I would get good customer service if something happens that was a mistake, because last I checked we are human beings that do make mistakes like when Spirit overbooks their flights and you are stuck in an airport for 12 hours.
This is the worst company and I've been in customer service for a long time I hope this company crashes and burns and I will try my hardest to be part of the cause that at least in a small way achieves that. I will be passing out some fliers to their passengers when ever I go to the airport.
