SuperShuttle Complaint - Terrible service and their drivers lie!!
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- I booked a trip online from Pasadena to LAX. I don't exactly live in the boonies. I was given a time slot and waited outside my place for their shuttle to arrive. The time slot came and went and no sign of any shuttle. When I called them, they claimed they had turned up at my place and I was a "no show". They claimed to have tried to called me several times and no one picked up. I told them they were lying and that I had been been outside my place all the time and no one had called my cell.
Eventually the driver of the shuttle called me and said he was coming back to pick me up. He made it very clear how much I had inconvenienced him. When he turned up, he was extremely rude. Had I not needed a lift to the airport, I would have dealt with him in my own way. When I got onto the shuttle and we were on our way, every other passenger informed me that he had not gone to my building at all and the driver was lying. They all gave me their contact numbers and said they would support my claims for a refund. Very interesting.
When I asked Super Shuttle to refund my money, they refused to refund my $29 under their "if we're late, you don't pay" policy. So I threatened to dispute the amount with my CC company. A day later, the refund was put back into my account. No apology, no explanation nothing.
I will not be using this company again. I do have a choice and it will not be with these cowboys!! I will also be writing to their parent company and informing them of how this company operates!!
