T-Mobile Complaint - Charged for returned phone.
EDGEWATER, MARYLAND -- Switched plans and received a new phone free. There was a problem sending pictures on the phone, so I went to a T-Mobile store. They were very helpful and explained it could be 2 things. Bad chip or bad phone. They replaced the chip and ordered me a replacement phone, shipped to my house. The replacement chip worked, so I took the replacement phone back to the T-Mobile store. They accepted it with no problem. Only later, after receiving a phone call did I learn that had I looked in the box I would have know not to do that.
Long story short is that T-Mobile lost the phone, the girl that accepted it does not work there any more, and they are trying to charge me a restocking fee for a the phone I gave back to them.
