Van Camp's Chicken of the Sea Complaint - I will never buy another can of Van Camp Tuna

Review by Aleasa on 2008-01-08
The can is mostly full of watery mashed tuna, not chunks. It also had dark meat in it along with the white meat. I would be embarrassed to feed it to a cat. The only way I could eat it was to make fish cakes to camouflage it.

Very disappointed customer.

I like the Starkist in the pouch. It is a little more expensive than the cans, but it is all meat and has no water in it. I find that it tastes fresher and I get more sandwiches out of one pouch than one can.

Why did you even eat it at all? It's not like a can of tuna is that expensive to replace.

Starkist pouch is definitely better...check that out.

I would go with the Starkist too but it all has to much salt anyway.

I like the Starkist - it has extra dolphin for more flavor!

Ale, have you ever heard of TUNA SALAD? That's basically what that stuff is for. What were you planning on GRILLING it? (NH)
Try the Albacore.

Hey Aleasa..I totally agree with you.. I bought several cans of the ..WHITE ALBACORE..which is supposed to be "the top of the line tuna"..It was so mushy and runny..I couldn't do anything with it..AND MY CAT wouldn't even eat it....
