DirecTV Inc Complaint - Disconnected - Satellite
WEST ORANGE, NEW JERSEY -- DirecTV recently discontinued our service because someone with our same last name, from another town, did not pay their bill! We tried explaining that we have absolutely nothing to do with the other family in the other town. Where in the world does it say that we have to pay for another customer's non-payment? We asked DirecTV why are we being disconnected if the bills were being paid through autopay? Our bills were being automatically paid through automatic billing and without warning our service was disconnected? They had no answer for that question.
We asked to speak to a manager and found the manager was clueless so we asked to speak to a supervisor and that request was ignored. They suggested that we pay the other customer's past due balance in order to have OUR service reconnected!
