Blue Cross / Blue Shield Complaint - Payments To Provider & Authorization For Services
MINNESOTA -- I am wondering if any other provider have more problems with reimbursement and authorization from Blue Cross compared to other insurance company.
It seems to me that Blue Cross find every reason to deny a claim. When you call customer service, sometimes they do not even know why it was denied.
Sometimes it gets re-processed and paid.
A couple of our insurance companies provided us with a list of acceptable service codes and reimbursemenet rates but Blue Cross will not ever point you in the right direction except go buy a coding book.
Where government plan is concerned, the majority of the insurance company uses the same codes as the state but no not blue cross.
