Block House MUD-ECO Resources (Water Company) Complaint - Horrible customer service
LEANDER, TEXAS -- I had an acct with this company for 2 years.
The number 1 complaint: No matter what day or time you called them, you were are hold for at LEAST 10 minutes.
Their policies changes monthly.
I love paycheck to paycheck and sometimes I pay my bills right before the cut off date. Bad, I know, but thats how it is right now.
One time I paid my bill Saturday night online and the disconnect date was that coming Tuesday.
Tuesday afternoon my water was cut off. After calling them and explaining I paid the bill, they put me on hold for a minute and came back apologizing. They said they would turn my water back on and not charge me any fees.
Well, the next months bill had a $30 reconnect fee on there. I called them and told them I wasn't supposed to be charged anything. The woman on the line argued with me forever and she was obviously wasn't going to back down. She said they had to charge me no matter what. I ended up paying it.
So then months later, I paid another bill online around 1 a.m. and then called them the next morning first thing to tell them I paid the bill and wanted to let them know because of what happened before.
This guy I was talking to tried to tell me that because I paid it AFTER 12, that it now falls on the disconnect day and he wanted to charge me $100 deposit and a $30 reconnect fee!! And my water was still on!!!
I told him he was crazy and that he can't charge me for something that wasn't done yet! I told him that I had paid my water bill like this before and was never told that!
After arguing forever with him, he finally "let" me not be charged.
ECO RESOURCES has the weirdest customer service and I am SO glad I moved and don't have to deal with them anymore.
