Carino's Compliment - Great food great service

Review by horrible_sanity on 2008-01-10
BURLINGTON, WASHINGTON -- I don’t know if anyone else that visits this site has a Carino’s anywhere near them but if you do please go eat there. The restaurant is comparable to olive garden except excels past them in many aspects.

There food is of a higher quality being cooked fresh instead of precooked like some of the stuff at olive garden is. There prices are about the same. The wait staff is amazing; I always let the manager know how great there cooks and wait staff are. I’ve spoken with the head chef a few times to let him know how great the food is. The very first time I ate there I ordered soup as I do not enjoy salad too much and I casually mentioned this to the waitress the next time we ate there which was almost a month later the waitress remembered I don’t like salad. The drink glasses are a good size so you don’t have to bother them to get you refills every ten minutes.

The bread is served with olive oil rosemary and dried tomatoes to dip it in and the bread itself is seasoned. I’ve never had a rude waitress nor has any waitress every forgotten anything I ordered. I’m not rich fancy dinners like this come only once and a while and 65 dollars for 2 people may not seem like much for some but for me and the wife it’s a lot. We are always met with a smile the portions and quality of the food is well worth the 11 to 15 dollars a plate you’ll pay and is some of the best Italian I’ve ever tasted.

If you’re interested in eating there after reading my review here is a link to their site so that you may see if one is nearby.

We had a Johnny Carino's open in Casa Grande in a beautiful building. Within two months, the franchisee had committed suicide, and the building was closed up. It is now a Macayo's Mexican Grill
