USA 3000 Complaint - Horrible Service
I am writing because of the horrible and rude service I received from USA3000's customer service. I booked a flight through the internet but a 2 days before the flight my grandfather past away. I called the airlines explaining the situation that I cannot leave because I would have to attend his funeral. I asked to change the flights to a later date. The reservations said it would cost an additional $341.00 to change the flights my flight and my girlfriends. Our original tickets only cost $357.00. The lady was very rude and simply did not care about my situation. Her only response was that that they had no policy that stated they had to do anything. I asked to speak to a manager and the manager refused to come to the phone. They told me to call customer service on Monday and deal with them.
On Monday I called customer service and they stated that they will take care of everything.
I was required to send in a death certificate, which I did and the only charge I was to receive was the difference in the price of each ticket. Once I faxed over the death certificate I tried booking my flight. I am now writing this complaint on Friday with still no flights booked. I have been trying all week to speak to a person at the customer service department, but no one ever answers, especially around lunch time. The costs of the tickets I wanted now cost more then they did on Monday. I fly this airlines several times a year and so does the rest of my family. We all travel visiting each other between Chicago and Florida. Between all my family members we spend several thousands of dollars each year with this company.
If this is how they treat their good and loyal customers, I wonder how they treat regular ones. I will not fly this airlines again.
