Countertop Company Complaint - Do Not Do Business With These Thieves

Review by Big D Tripd on 2008-01-12
The Countertop Company, c/o Transcontinental Granite

There are a LOT of victims of this company, up and down the east coast. People with complaints against this company should file with their local BBB and State Attorney General's office.

Also, file with Federal Trade Commission, search for the FTC Consumer Complaint form, Bureau of Consumer Protection. While the FTC does not resolve individual consumer problems, your complaint helps to investigate fraud, and can lead to law enforcement action.

Ordered countertops, paid, never received. No customer service. This makes them THIEVES. This isn't an opinion, it's a fact!

Have you tried filing a lawsuit?

I'm another customer, but I had the exact same experience as the original poster. Paid for countertops, and the company didn't deliver and refused to return phone calls, e-mails, certified letters, etc. I tried to file a lawsuit but the warrant was returned undeliverable because they couldn't find Thomas Passarelli, the owner of the company. The address he has listed with the Virginia State Corporation Commission is either fake or else he does not frequent it. I do know people that have brought him to court but he keeps lawyers on staff so it costs him nothing to do this to us, and even if people win, Passarelli just appeals it. It takes so much time and money that it deters most people from pursuing him, and it is my belief that is his whole strategy.

Let's all file complaints and get this guy shut down, this has gone on long enough!
