Dish Network Informative - Dish Network Telemarketing After Cancellation
LAKE CITY, FLORIDA -- I canceled Dish Network three months ago and switched to DirecTV. Every couple of weeks I get a phone call from Dish Network. They want me back as a customer. I tell them I have never been treated so badly and have never had a worse experience dealing with a company than I had with dish network. Then I get another call from them a few weeks later wanting me to go back to dish network. I finally had to call them and put my name on their "do not call list". Now, I have to wait 30 days to not receive any further telemarketing phone calls from dish network. When can I have finally have peace?
I am really, really tired of dish network. If dish network reads this blog, then please do not call people after they have canceled service with your company. Please do not call on evenings, weekends, Christmas eve, New Years eve or anytime for that matter.
DirecTV or Cable is the only way to go. I did not have a problem with the cable company, but just wanted to get more channels for the dollar and not be hooked up by a cable to a grid that crashes now and then because of weather.
I chose Dish Network and abruptly cancelled their service after several problems which I will not go into. DirecTV is better than cable or Dish Network. When using DirecTV you can just feel the quality of the entire process of bringing satellite television to your living room. There really is no comparison between Dish Network and DirecTV. DirecTV has better everything including reception, programming, easy of use, customer service, and just a better remote control unit that has a lot more functions. Stay away from dish network, they will hound you for months after you cancel your service, and you will cancel your service if you have ever had the opportunity to compare the two satellite service companies.
