Toastmaster Inc Compliment - American Made Quality - Toastmaster Model #B700A Toaster

Toastmaster Model #B700A Toaster - Compliment
Review by Unit 46 on 2008-01-15
COLUMBIA,, MISSOURI -- Greetings,

I would like to tell you about one of your products. We received a Toastmaster Toaster, model #B700A as a wedding present 25 years ago. We used this toaster every day making everything from bagels to Pop-Tarts. It performed flawlessly every time! On the bottom was stamped "made in Boonville Mo" which gave me pride in American quality. The toaster just recently burned out. It has been replaced with another Toastmaster Toaster. Sad to see "Made in China."

I hope this one lasts as long.

We also have one. Got it with S&H Green Stamps. Remember them? It's now 43 year old. Replaced the plug on it several years back. Still works perfect. Like generic user says, you'll never see a new one last as long.

I remember a Brady Bunch episode about green stamps. What would they do? Purchase a sewing machine or a canoe?

I received my Toeastmaster 4 slice toaster in October of 1972. Live it. Still going strong! If it ever breaks, I will have its heating coils redone.
