Bernie's Appliances - Holyoke, MA Complaint - Broken knob on stove

HOLYOKE, MASSACHUSETTS -- We took delivery of a front control stove on Dec. 8,2007, when the delivery people came thru the door they snapped a knob off of the stove. Since then I haven't received anything after being told I would get a replacement for it, they never offered to have a technician come and check it out. After talking to a few people and telling the story, nothing. Today I was told that the part was ordered and asked for a technician to come over and that he would call me,nothing yet. Also I asked why one wasn't offered to come and look at the damage; the girl said I didn't ask. Guess they have no common sense.

All they want is the sale nothing else, the service is really bad, also after they left my husband found the paint inside the oven door was chipped and cut himself on it. Well I told them about that and oh yes you'll get a new door, when?
It will be 2 months on Feb.8 since this was delivered. We bought all of out appliances from them, well, I guess this is it.

We will never buy anything else from Bernies and tell all our friends not to also.

I would have refused delivery of a broken stove. Thanks for the heads up though. I've got a friend in that area, so I'll warn him.
