Spirit Airlines Complaint - Worst Flying Experience (Crew & Luggage)
ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- I flew this past Sunday, 1/13/08 on Spirit Flight 238. We were delayed taking off due to some bad weather in Ft Lauderdale. This apparently put the crew in a very BAD mood. We landed for a brief stopover in Orlando on the way to Atlanta. They were rude to many passengers as they boarded during the stopover in Orlando. Literally barking out directions to individual passengers and treated grown adults as children. At no time was a professional voice tone employed or the word PLEASE used by any Spirit employee. It was appalling!
Little did I know that it was the tip of the iceberg as far as Spirit was concerned. My luggage was damaged by them. Through five emails with their "customer service" rep today - I have not been given a working phone number for the company and even their email is rude. They won't give me another phone number to talk to someone because the rep said "I already gave you a phone number". I have pointed out the phone number offered by them is a private residence (AND THE OWNER OF THE PHONE NUMBER HAS TRIED FOR TWO YEARS TO GET THIS INCORRECT INFO STRAIGHTENED OUT). Doesn't seem to matter to them.
Unbelievably BAD experience all the way around! Will never fly them again!!! I don't care how cheap they are!
