Classmates Informative - Classmates.com - Interest groups

Review by namvet on 2008-01-16
I find it strange that a company like this still exists. If you want to find anger or bigotry or foul language simply go to the political interests groups, Enter, and simply read various topics and language common there. Of all places I sure was surprised. You have to be a gold member for this privilege, another $10. Classmates. com obviously does not adequately monitor these sites. They will however, gladly TAKE your money. Who would have thought?

I have been a gold member of CM for several years but never ventured into the interest groups. I had not previously visited a discussion group on the computer before. Most of the interest groups are civil but not very active. The political groups - be prepared!

Most of the really active folks there have been doing this for years and claim it used to be worse. I can't imagine worse.

Classmates also has the only say on all decisions concerning members. They seem to never explain their reasons for what little action they do take. Seems strange in a Democracy.

And to think I was using this shameful company to find old friends.
Guess I'm stuck with them until July.
