Apple Computer Inc Complaint - Malfunction - Ipod Classic
10 days ago, I purchased my first ipod, the 80 gig Classic. While I have been mostly pleased with listening to my music, there is a common abnormality. Some songs do not play all the way through. I estimate about 3% of my songs fall in this category. I contacted Apple and got some song and dance that because I didn't purchase them from Itunes, they don't support it.
Here's the issue. These songs are complete and play in my Itunes library completely. I have deleted these songs off my ipod, then downloaded them again and still they get cut off. Clearly, this is not an issue of going to some third party vendor as Apple would like the less competent to believe and do. It's the Ipod itself that contains the malfunction of not completely playing a song that shows complete in its own file. In fact, while playing the cut off songs, the ipod shows 3 minutes remain to be played but cuts and goes to the next song anyway. Third party vendor? NOT!
If Apple wants to be the Microsoft of customer service they're on the right track and their aim is low. What a disappointment. I cannot in good conscience recommend the ipod Classic to anyone of my friends because the service is wanting to say the least.
