Wendy's Complaint - Customer Service
SALT LAKE, UTAH -- Working graveyard shift on my way home in the morning of 1/13/08. I decided to stop in at Wendy's restaurant drive thru for breakfast.
When I got home after working all night long I discovered they had not only given me the wrong order which was lesser cost items than what I had been charged, but the food was cold and the cheese on the sandwiches was still frozen.
I contacted the 800 customer service number on the bag and filed a complaint, on 1/15 I was contacted by the stores assistant mgr and after explaining the problem to him he offered to replace my order which I thought was great.
On 1/17/08 on my way home from work I decided to stop in at this same location and pick up my order they owed me, again going through the drive thru, I stopped at the speaker hoping to place my order. After 5 minutes of waiting no one took my order so I pulled up to the window, when I got there 4 employees were standing by the window talking and going about. Thinking if I honked my horn I could get someones attention, but they just looked at me and ignored me, including a female in a blue shirt which I assume was the manager on duty. After being ignored for another 3-4 minutes I drove off and went to McDonald's where I received my order in under 2 minutes of placing it.
I will never visit another Wendys anywhere in the United States again. As a consumer I have the right to spend my hard earned money any where I choose and this is not one of those places.
