Delta Airlines Complaint - Poor Customer Service
ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- My 94 year old mother purchased a ticket January 11th, 2007 for a June trip. She became ill and could not use the ticket for the original trip but was told she had until the end of January 2008 to use it. When she tried to use it for her grand daughters wedding this coming summer she was informed it expired 3 days prior to her call. I have since been trying to get it reinstated. She has an extremely limited income. I can not afford to help her at this time. Delta will not even discuss reinstating it (mind you it was 3 days not 3 months out).
I have called a dozen times to try and get thru to someone with the ability to help and get blocked. Please if your dealing with this company remember they will take your/or family members money quick enough but absolutely care nothing for the customer after that point. Common compassion would go a long ways for company image but from what I have seen lately about the poor customer service offered by Delta, I should have expected nothing from them.
Not even to be fair and consider the circumstances. I will never ever use delta, or suggest anyone else use delta. Not using a company is the only way the little guy can fight back against big,cold corporations.
