Papa Murphy's Pizza Informative - We Have One Close! - Take and Bake Pizza

Review by Starlord on 2008-01-18
CHANDLER, ARIZONA -- For anyone from Phoenix to Eloy, we have a Papa Murphy's in Chandler, AZ. Channel Five, KPHO-TV, as part of their newscast on Thursday nights has what they call their 'Dirty Dining Report,' where they accompany Maricopa County Health inspectors on inspections of restaurants, and report when restaurants get gigged for major health violations. They also have their 'Dean's List' of places that get perfect inspections. Last night, 1-17, Papa Murphy's, located at Ray Rd and McClintock in Chandler made the Dean's List (No big surprise).

Now that we know we have a Papa Murphy's within 40 miles of us, we will be getting our pizza from there in the future. So all of you folks who are our extended neighbors, Good News is here, along with Papa Murphy's!

I have heard nothing but good things about Papa Murphy's. I wish that had one closer to us so that we could try them out. It's no shock that they would wind up on the clean list. With the things I hear about how clean and nice they are I would be surprised if they didn't.

I've always loved Papa Murphy's, their Chicago style stuffed pizza is mucho delicious as is the chicken garlic pizza and the prices are insanely reasonable for the size of pizza you get. I was in one a couple of months ago around dinnertime and they only had one or two people handling the drive-up, the phone and the walk-in customers so it (understandably) took longer than normal to be served, but the workers were still very friendly and apologetic.

Luvky you! We moved to an area with none, and I miss their pizzas horribly!

Do they bake the pizza for you if you ask them or do you have to bake it yourself.

Wally, you take the pizza home and bake it. That is one thing that contributes to the quality of PM pizza. the money they would have spent on those big ovens instead goes to buying top quality ingredients. Papa John SAYS better ingredients, but they still have those big ovens to keep hot. Papa Murphy has no ovens, so the stores are cool and clean and the pizzas are made with the very best meats, cheeses and produce. No pizza place with ovens can match a place that has no ovens creating heat and dirt. Also, when you sit down to eat your pizza, it is hot and fresh, something Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Peter Piper, or any other cannot offer you.

We tried Papa Murphy's once, wasn't very good. Perhaps we'll give it another try, but I'll have to twist the wife's arm a bit.

Well I will have to give them a try when I’m the area Its just when I bake pizzas they turn out like crud that’s probably because they are the store bought ones I’m sure I would have better success with papa Murphy’s with all them fresh ingredients .
