CenturyTel Complaint - Paying for something that I don't receive
MOUNTAIN GROVE, MISSOURI -- Ok, so I have been reading on this site and figured out that I'm not the ONLY one having this problem. I upgraded my internet to 10.0 DSL, and have had nothing but trouble with it. I haven't been getting 10.0, its been running BELOW a 1.5, and I am sooo mad. CenturyTel keeps telling me that its this or that problem. Always trying to blame my computer, or something like that. Well, the fun part is that when my internet shuts off randomly, my phone does too!!! But, they can't explain that, and say, "Ok, it must be your lines then, we'll send a tech out in a few days". So, I've gone WITHOUT internet for 2 days at the most before, waiting. Yet, I still get billed out the wazoo, for something that I am not getting. I have contacted the Better Business Bereau once already, but I am going to turn to the attourney general next, and go further even yet. This has happened at least 8 times to me, and I have to use my cell phone to call the morons at CenturyTel, and use up my cell minutes. Since their phone lines and DSL keep randomly shutting off, every few days.
