Net-Stick.com (Net-Stick Store) Complaint - Don't Buy from this company! I was ripped-off
CHINA -- On 11-15-2007 I purchased a Sony 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo after seeking good prices on the Internet. At the time, I did not know (or had any inkling) that this outfit is located in China. It took 2-3 weeks to receive the item as I wanted the extra memory for my newly puchased SONY digital camera. Upon using the memory, I noticed problems, where 1/3 or more of my photos were corrupted. I then called SONY technical support and they verified the memory was bad. In turn, I notified the Net-Stick store. They said to return the memory and they would issue a refund. On 12-4-07, I sent the memory to the company address via 1st class. As several weeks passed they said that they hadn't received it. Naturally, if I were to pay for expensive tracking/delivery confirmation, it would have been an exercise in futility due to the added expense out of my wallet, since I was due a $32 credit for the memory itself.
Here it is Jan 19th 2008, now they won't even return my emails about receipt of the package and have not issued the credit via Paypal. So, I'm out $32.97 + approx $4 for 1st class postage to China. They simply ignore me now... buyer's BEWARE!!!
