Comcast Corporation Complaint - Horrible Customer Service - The Worst I Have Ever Had!
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH -- Comcast LIES to its customers, and then to make it worse they treat you like you're dirt when you call them about their (deliberate) mistakes.
I saw an ad for six months of internet service for $19.95. I called and when I was signing up I asked if I could pick up my self-install kit locally and still get the same offer, and I was told that I could and given the address where to go.
Still not trusting Comcast, I called that local office and ASKED them too, and I was told that I could pick it up in town and still get the same offer. When I got to the local office I also asked them to verify on their system that I was signed up for six month at $19.95, and TWICE they said that I was.
My first bill showed FOUR months @ $24.95!!
I called and they basically told me "too bad, our system shows four months at $24.95 and there's nothing that you can do."
I am canceling their "replacement" offer today (two months early, even by their standard), and I will NEVER deal with this company EVER again.
I hope that the extra $5 a month for two months was worth losing a customer for LIFE, and for them it seems to be!
