Comcast Corporation Complaint - Billing error!
MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE -- I have always paid my Comcast bill online. With some recent changes mandated by FCC, my online access was somehow deleted. I phoned several times to have the issue corrected only to be given yet another trouble ticket. So the time came to pay my bill and the only options were to mail it in or call and pay by phone. After waiting almost 45 minutes because no automated pay by phone service is available, I spoke with a representative. My debit card information was taken and during processing the man returned stating the system went down and to give it a couple of days then check back to see if it went through.
I waited the requested two days and phoned in again to pay my bill. I was told no payment had been received and I checked with my bank and no payment had posted. Well after the processing of this payment, two days later I received 2 debits on my account. No big deal, I just thought I would just be ahead on my Comcast bill. I phoned and only 1 payment had been received. I have called, faxed, online chatted only to be told over and over again that they have only received the one payment.
I truly feel powerless and have launched a complaint with the FCC. I am almost 3 weeks into this situation and still no resolution. So be forewarned!!!
