Spirit Airlines Complaint - Lost luggage/Lost Customer Service!
FLORIDA -- I traveled from Ft. Lauderdale FL to San Jose Costa Rica. Only one of my two pieces of luggage arrived with me. I completed the necessary paperwork at the baggage claim center in the airport. It has been 12 days and countless phone calls to a busy signal, answering machine or an "on hold message" and still not a satisfactory reply from the airline regarding the status of my missing bag. There were four other travelers on the same flight who were also missing bags. I have read several complaints on this site regarding the lack of customer service provided by Spirit Airlines. Not only is the adage "You get what you pay for" true it is also true that "You don't get what you don't pay for".
In this case Spirit Air has removed any form of customer service from their flight service. Does Spirit Airlines actions-or rather failure to act constitute theft?
