VIP Honda Complaint - Dealer Unfit for Your Business

Review by The Nak on 2008-01-23
NORTH PLANFIELD, NEW JERSEY -- On December 5, 2007, I ordered a new Honda from this dealership. After three promises of delivery over four weeks, a car for me finally arrived, and it was the wrong car. I canceled the order and have now been waiting a month for my deposit refund. I have sent letters and made phone calls, and have gotten many empty promises, unreturned phone calls, and general delaying tactics, but no refund.

Do yourself a favor: go anywhere but VIP Honda in North Plainfield, NJ for a car.

If you have a lawyer friend, have them send a letter. Or go to small claims court. Good luck.

You need to go in person and ask to talk with the General Manager. Forget calling on the phone...

Once they have your money, you're done. Put a fork in you and turn ya over ! I seen onetime that a customer ordered a new vehicle. The customer placed a substantial downpayment on it. After a while the vehicle arrived, though the customer was never notified. The service department needed to "borrow" part off of it to fix a customer's vehicle that was in their service department. finally yhe customer had enough of the "run around". Somebody at G.M told the customer that the vehicle was delivered 2 week prior. The customer came to the dealership (Penn Pontiac-GMC) and guess what? BAM!!! The vehicle was sitting out on the service lot with the transmission removed !!!! The unit had been back ordered and the only was acquire one was from a stock unit or a special order. Goes to show you, NEVER trust the dealer. Go there with a cork in your butt!!!
