Travelocity Complaint - Hotel Rating
BUENOS AIRES -- I cannot tell you how disappointed my husband and I were with the way Travelocity handled a recent trip to Argentina. On Travelocity.com, the hotel received a "5 star" rating. The one photo looked nice and the location was ideal. Upon check in, we quickly realized that "5 stars" must have been becuase the person rating the hotel was clobbered over the head as was seeing stars.......dirty, dingly, dark, dank, bad, bad, bad, one star would have been optimistic. We called Travelocity immediately (the bellman hadn't even delivered the luggage yet) and were told that if we didn't like the hotel we should have called sooner! Sooner?? How would we have known any sooner??
Anyway, we were lied to and the customer service rep had NO IDEA of the customer bill of rights -- instead of staying 10 days, we left after 4 (tired of the one elevator not working periodically and having to hoof it up 8 floors!) We are now trying to secure a refund!! Stay tuned!
