DirecTV Inc Complaint - Field Techs And Customer Service
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI -- If you want satellite network TV, DO NOT COUNT ON IT WORKING WHEN IT'S RAINY, when it is windy or when it is sleeting (times when you'd most like it to work). But do EXPECT TO PAY for it.
Hopefully you won't need to call CUSTOMER SERVICE SINCE IT ISN'T SERVICE and it is surely not customer oriented as the person on the other end typically says "I'm sorry we can't help you right now our computer system is down". I asked if there was any printed back-up or anything and was told "no, it's all computer and rely on it but it's down". This describes the 4 times that I called.
And good luck finding FIELD TECHS who will not argue with you over why they're late and haven't called. Then call you several times in a row to make sure he's irritated you completed, and can't figure out if 10:00 mean morning when they do not work past 8:00 pm. Finally, if you are female and the tech is male, try to ask for one without a smart-ass comment, who hasn't been trained in just 2 hours and let loose, and definitely ask for someone who's had at least 3 or more years of real service training, behaves with manners, has a reliable track record on service work, and hopefully you'll get someone with at least common sense...hard to find under 30 years old that's for sure.
Happened to me here in MO, near Lakewood, no names named but on Ess Rd by field tech "J".
