World Wide Movers - Plantation, FL Informative - Household Move - Household Movers

MORGANTOWN, WEST VIRGINIA -- We used World Wide Movers for our move from AR to WV. It was a disaster from day one. They showed up 3 days late-at 7:00 in the evening, then informed us they were not there to pack, we would have to do that. The next day we had to go to the hotel to wake them up - after we straightened out the packing situation. It took two weeks for the furniture to be delivered--2 men and a truck at 8:00 at night. The best part is they were sent to a wrong address and we had to go get them. I cannot describe all the damage. Pictures that had been packed came unpacked--with grease on them. Grease and scratches on furniture, broken tables, chairs etc. My settlement...$127.00 for over $8,000 lost and damaged items. Be CAREFUL. The moving company is not the people who came to pack and move the furniture. We signed one contract with World Wide--but there were new terms and conditions on the back of the inventory sheets--that we did not read--didn't even see.

Also, we agreed to .60 pound damage--that's why $127. I don't advise buying their insurance--but cover any loss with your own insurance company. Live and learn!
