Fresh Wireless - Sunrise Mall, Massapequa, NY Complaint - Store Practices and Customer Treatment
MASSAPEQUA, NEW YORK -- Visited this store with an inquiry concerning capabilities of a cell phone I recently purchased. Clerk stated definitively that the only way to accomplish what I was inquiring about was to purchase a $40 software package. I purchased the package. Installed it two weeks later. Discovered that clerk was in error, package did not perform desired function. Contacted Verizon Wireless. They instructed me (in 30 seconds) on how I could use this function for free. They were quite surprised I had been sold this particular software. Returned to Fresh Wireless. Clerk admitted mistake. Clerk and Manager refused to provide cash refund, despite the fact that it was their error. Manager was exceedingly rude. Asked to speak with owner.
Of course, he is not available. I would love to see a response from this company, but am fairly confident this will not occur.
