Bennigans Complaint - inexcusable actions of manager
PLAINFIELD, NEW JERSEY -- I recently had lunch at Store # 3151, 4901 Stelton Rd., Plainfield, NJ. Lunch did come within 15 minutes and the waitress was friendly. However, my client being dismayed at the fact that the soda glasses were so full of ice and only getting one or two sips a glass and then having to order another one that she ordered a soda without ice. When the soda came the glass was less than half full of soda. She took this as an insult since she asked for no ice. We then tried to flag down our waitress, this being an almost impossible task after we were served and informed her that we were unhappy about it. Her excuse was the soda fountain caused too much foam and then she got the manager. The manager came over and berated us loudly in front of other customers for being so silly about a glass of soda, to which we paid our bill and left immediately. We did not expect the manager to get involved in such a silly case as a half a glass of soda, all we wanted was a full glass of soda (what we where paying for). That was inexcusable for a manager to act as she did.
