LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- We have been attempting to get our 9 month old Philips '62 TV (which is now actually a radio since it has no picture, only sound) repaired since October 2007. In December (late) Philips finally decided they would replace the TV. They have replaced the bulb ($400 and 10 days for them to get it, although we got the part number and could have gotten it online in 2-3 days), then they said that another part must be broken (cost $1,500) and it's estimated date of delivery was 1/9/08. Well here it is 1/25/08 and we still have NO TV. The TV came in "scratched" according the the service company, so they sent it back and we are awaiting another TV. Why did they not just remove the necessary part and replace it in our TV? If the TV is scratched it's not "sellable" is it?
Philips pays for shipping to and from Columbus OH yet won't reimburse us for direct TV that we have been paying and unable to use. In a few words PHILIPS SUCKS.
