Target Complaint - Return Policy is HORRIBLE
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA -- I have read reviews in people defending and bashing Target's return policy. I created my wedding registry at Target and went in today to try to return the duplicate items. I was denied. The items were Target brand items and I NEVER asked for cash but for store credit to get other items that were unfulfilled. These are all items that are directly on my list, not something I claimed I requested. Is it my fault that a gift receipt wasn't given with the gift? And as far as their supposed "exchange in the same department" policy that is untrue as well. I understand they are trying to watch where the money goes, not trying to give out more money that what was actually paid, but where is the logic in not allowing store credit for duplicate items off my gift registry? For those of you that are defending their policy, I CANNOT wait for the day that you are put in this situation and understand the stupidity from our angle.
