I just read the other review and have to be honest, there is a feel of a click in the responses. I don't believe it ever was the intention upon inception or to date, that posting a complaint on my3cents was about specifically directing and received comments to people who spend a lot of time here. A lot of us, myself included, have used the term membership in describing ourselves. When in fact, we are nothing more than registered users and frequent visitors.

I just post my comments and opinions and they are just that. I do what the voices in my head tell me to and they ain't always right. If you read the replies to the original post, they were not disrespectful, and explained the opinion of the posters quite well.

hinge, I'll never achieve a 'high star' rating and I really don't care. I've read both your letters and I think you're behaving in a very childish manner. As I've often read here, if you don't want to see differing opinions, don't post on a public forum. If everyone agreed, this would be a very boring world. You were shown no disrespect, but you certainly piled it on some of the membership. Furthermore, in the other letter, if you're such a good salesman, don't you know how to say "NO?" I'm not in sales, but I certainly know how to do it.

Liddy, 'Mr and Miss America': MI finally made it! It was a long 20 years since we've had a Miss America from MI. I didn't see the first showing of it but got home in time to see the last hour of the rerun. She's cute, too. But kinda young. :)

Actually those with stars have been voted as being helpful. Not just from the people that post on here on a regular basis, but from anyone who happens to think they are helpful.

Some of us here have been known to provide advise that is straight forward AND helpful. Some just don't like hearing it.

When you post your opinion on a public forum, you're going to get other opinions back! Kind of interesting how that works huh?

Yea like anything new but I'm beginning to get bored here. Not interested in "reviewing" other peoples reviews.... not my bag. I follow stocks. As a matter of fact I brought this place up this am and this is just a sample of what's being said on a site where new posters are welcome and trading strategies are discussed.....

You didn't post asking for advise or complaining about Finances, you posted a review on a workout center.

Epic fail at trying to "prove" your intelligence. You're right, people would post circles around me about finances, but I dare you to take your smarts to an insurance industry message board, or even a music business forum and you'd be left in the dust there.

I have to say squeekyhinge has some good points. I remember being attacked brutally when I made my first 2 posts--which I promptly deleted. And, they were legitimate complaints--but I was made to feel like a complete idiot. I'm sure others here have had the same thing happen to them. Why do we come back? I really don't know. It's like moths to a light (or something like that)!

I was just following the comments because I find it interesting in the number of people that complain of being attacked on this site in the few days that I have been here. The attacks were going on when I came here four years ago. I find it interesting, the number of newbies, in just a few days would suddenly bring up this issue. Of course, it's probably only one old member and NOT a number of newbies...but, it's fun chatting when there isn't much else going on.

The blessing is coming on Sat. The smudge sticks shipped today and will be here on Friday. I got some prayer rug in the mail today so I used it because I'm getting totally freaked out about all this bad luck. Everyone in the house got pink eye. Oldest son on Saturday, youngest Sunday, me yesterday and hubby today. Nobody come near me, I'm contagious. It could be a much better website if people would latch onto the "help" idea instead of the ridicule that often comes across in a very bad way. I don't think it was the original intent of the web site.
