Ashley Furniture Complaint - Ashley Red Durapella Sofa - Garbage
HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NEW JERSEY -- My Ashley sofa started to collapse after about 6 months. It happened slowly. When we realized what was happening we contacted Ashley extended warranty service Guardsman. They said they do not cover manufacture defects. However, when Ashley sold me the extended warranty they said that they cover everything and anything. They didn't have the extended warranty available for me to read at time of purchase, they said they ran out of brochures. I should have known then to run for the hills. Now, Ashley will not honor my issue because the year warranty is up. I called so many times and got no where. I finally started showing up at the store so they sent someone to my house and overstuffed my cushions. However, the problem was that the frame was collapsing and not the cushions. Now the cushions don't fit and keep sliding off and the frame is touching the floor in the center. The legs are on an angle and damaged my hardwood floors. The sofa is so bad that it is going in the garbage this week.
After less then two years we were forced to purchased another sofa from a competitor today. Ashley headquarters, customer service or web inquiries are not responding to my issue. Bad quality, bad service. I will never buy from there again.
