Continental Airlines Complaint - Physical abuse by stewardess
This happened about 5(?) years ago. I had been on an international flight seated in a bulk head seat with another continental employee who I befriended that was initally seated in first class but came back to hang out.
I went to use the restroom, the closest one in the front of the plane. Ooops, the 1st class one I guess. I didn't realize my ignorance would've resulted in this portly (and airline saftey liablilty) stewardess name Ava (or Eva) grabbing me by my arm en route and shouting "YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO BE IN HERE!" and pushed me in the other direction. I was so embarrasssed and the look on the passengers faces was unforgettable.
I went to ask her her name and she said "You don't need to know my damn name!" At that point some words were exchanged.
I wrote the VP a 3 page letter. The response "we will look into the matter internally. Our course of action will not be disclosed to you."
Since then my extensively traveled family, nor I have ever flown on this abusive airlines. I rather pay extra than support such an unscrupulous company.
In retrospect, I should've filed a lawsuit. I just can't believe that it is acceptable to physically handle a misguided passenger.
