Splash International Informative - Cheated out of $66 refund

Review by zebra on 2008-02-03
ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- 11/02/07 I ordered a swim suit. It didn't fit, I returned it. After inquiring if Splash Int. received the suit. Stephanie email me..yes, just look for a refund on my credit card. Never got it. I called
888, 775-2744 repeatedly, left messages, got no replies from that or emails. Filed a complaint with Better Business in Jan , 2008. Am now waiting a reply from the Metro Washington DC, BBB. I see another person was cheated and posted their complaint on my 3 cents on 8/12/2003. Hmm, a long time making money off customers by cheating them...Next time I'll check around, I was ripe for the picking by an unethical business!

You usually have 60 days from the time the charge first appears on you credit card statement to dispute the charge. They are trying to stall you to get past that 60 day window. Check your statement dates. If you are still within the 60 days dispute it NOW!

Hmm, 2/3/2008. TNCHUCK100 Thanks, not sure how one "disputes at problem such as my swim suit fiasco.

There should be instructions on your statement as to how to dispute. If not, call them and ask how.

zebra, RE: your email - The 60 days counts from the date of credit card statement on which it first appears, not the invoice date of the purchase.

fascismsux, not always. Mine could use a nip 'n tuck in some places. :)
